Meet the instructors

Laurie Bowman is passionate about improving project outcomes through effective project planning and risk management. He has 25+ years of experience in engineering and management on complex programs, has been awarded as an Engineering Executive and Fellow of Engineers Australia and has served as the Director for AACE International in Australasia and the Pacific Rim. He is the Principal his training organisation and advisory, Synchrony, where his focus is on helping clients transition to a performance culture and achieve successful project, program and portfolio management outcomes.

Gideon Klipstein is the Vice President Business of Cleopatra Enterprise & Cost Engineering Consultancy in Europe. He’s also leading the company’s initiative to establish an office in Australia by the end of 2019. Gideon holds Bachelor, Post bachelor, and Postmaster degrees and has more than 8 years of experience in commercial consulting roles for various industries. He’s a regular speaker at international professional events focused on the Project Controls workspace.
